The former Reds defensive midfielder had his say about the Irishman’s return to the City Ground as Martin O’Neill’s assistant.

Already much of the Nottingham Forest fanbase was delighted with the appointment of their European Cup-winning ace Martin O’Neill as manager, and now a double whammy has been completed with the arrival of his former Republic of Ireland assistant – and fellow Reds old-boy – Roy Keane.
The 47-year-old spent three years as a Forest player before leaving to join Manchester United in 1993 for a then British-record transfer fee of £3.75m, and worked alongside O’Neill during his five-year spell as ROI manager, which ended in November.
Plenty of fans have had their say on Keane’s return to the City Ground on Twitter, as announced by the Forest website, and now Guy Moussi, who played for the Reds between 2008 and 2014, has also tweeted a message expressing his delight with the appointment.
Moussi, who maintains a keen interest in his former club, seems to be hoping Keane will bring some passion to the dressing room and perhaps ruffle some feathers:

And some others urged Moussi to consider a return to the City Ground too:
Keane had spells as manager of Sunderland and Ipswich Town before being part of the Eire setup when they reached the last 16 of Euro 2016.
