Moussa Sissoko’s three-word tweet has some Spurs fans talking after his performance

It was a great night for Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday but not for Moussa Sissoko, if we’re honest.

Spurs put one foot in the last 16 of the Europa League by thumping Wolfsberger 4-1 in Hungary.

Michael Liendl threw the Austrian side a lifeline on 55 minutes by scoring a penalty to make it 3-1, after first-half goals from Son Heung-min, Gareth Bale and Lucas Moura.

But it was Sissoko who clumsily conceded the spot-kick to begin with.

And the Tottenham midfielder made another mistake which led to Wolfsberger hitting the crossbar, coming within inches of making it 3-2.

It’s fair to say that it was a difficult night for the France international, but he cut a cheery figure on social media afterwards, posting ‘Good job mates’ along with a photo of his team-mates during the game.

And although quite a few Tottenham fans stuck the boot in, many more backed the former Newcastle United winger.
