Tottenham Hotspur’s new signing Moussa Sissoko has told the club’s official website that he spoke to Hugo Lloris before making his move to White Hart Lane.
Spurs made all the headlines on deadline day, as they snapped up Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez, Marseille winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and then Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

As reported by Sky Sports, Tottenham splashed £30m on Sissoko, beating Premier League rivals Everton to his signature just moments before the summer transfer window slammed shut on Wednesday evening.
French international midfielder Sissoko, 27, struggled at times last season as Newcastle suffered relegation to the Championship, but he showed his quality with some superb performances for France at Euro 2016 this summer.

Surely seen as a player who can provide the power and drive from midfield in the absence of Mousa Dembele, Sissoko will be hoping to find some consistency to his game under the stewardship of Mauricio Pochettino.
The move to White Hart Lane means that Sissoko reunites with one of his international team-mates – goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

The duo were in France’s Euro 2016 squad together, and Sissoko has revealed to the club’s official website that he spoke to Lloris before making his switch, with the goalkeeper allegedly telling him that Tottenham is an ‘amazing’ club to play for.
Sissoko also suggested that he wants to compete with England’s elite during his time with the club, and called Lloris a ‘good friend’ of his from their time with France.
“He’s a good friend for me,” said Sissoko. “When we are with the national team we speak a lot, we laugh a lot. He’s a great player and when he spoke to me about this club he told me that it’s amazing and everything is here for me to play some good games and to fight with the best teams in England. Today I’m happy and he’s happy because we will play together in the Premier League.”
