Moussa Sissoko joined Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016.

Moussa Sissoko has told Yahoo! Sport that that Tottenham Hotspur are better than Newcastle.
Sissoko joined Tottenham from Newcastle in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £30 million.
The France international midfielder struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane last season, but the 28-year-old is playing well for Spurs at the moment.

Ahead of this evening’s Champions League match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, the former Toulouse star has said that Tottenham are better than Newcastle.
“I said it in the newspaper when I signed,” Sissoko told Yahoo! Sport. “I came to Tottenham because, although I respect Newcastle, for me Tottenham is better than Newcastle and they try to win the title in the league, and you have a chance to play in the Champions League. That’s what I wanted.”

Newcastle are a big club in England and get around 50,000 fans for their home matches, but there can be no doubt that joining Spurs was a step higher for Sissoko.
Tottenham have gone close to winning the Premier League in the past two seasons, and the North London outfit will be aiming to do the same this term.
As for Newcastle, the Magpies got promoted from the Championship at the end of the 2016-17 campaign and could find themselves fighting for survival in the Premier League as the season progresses
