Tottenham Hotspur won against Swansea City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at his side’s win against Swansea City.

Spurs returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 5-0 victory over Swansea at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen scored twice each for the North London outfit, and Son Heung-min added one.

Sissoko, who joined Tottenham from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, featured in the game.

The France international midfielder did not start the match, but he came on as a substitute in the 71st minute.

The 27-year-old has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for Tottenham, and so has a number of his teammates.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon, hosts Tottenham had 60% of the possession, took 28 shots of which 15 were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Swansea had 40% of the possession, took just one shot which was not on target, and failed to earn a single corner, according to BBC Sport.
