Moussa Sissoko has reacted on Twitter after signing a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur.

The France international’s brilliant form over the past 12 months has resulted in Spurs signing him up until the year 2023.

Sissoko played a huge role in Tottenham reaching the Champions League final last season and virtually no fan of the North London club will be surprised by this reward.

Here’s how the former Newcastle United winger reacted to the deal on Twitter:

Sissoko’s form at Tottenham is a huge reminder of Mauricio Pochettino’s talents as a manager.

The Argentine isn’t having an easy time right now after his team endured a horrendous week across three different competitions – including losing to a League Two club in the League Cup.

But the way in which Sissoko went from being a £30 million flop to one of the first names on the teamsheet is testament to Pochettino’s man-management skills.

There’s a few more players for Tottenham to sign up to new deals, like Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, but this is a good start.
