Tottenham Hotspur are already 11 points off the top four.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has admitted to the Daily Mail that everyone at the club would sign up for winning the Champions League to get into next year’s competition.
Spurs continue to struggle in the Premier League, drawing 1-1 at home to Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon as Son Heung-min’s opener was cancelled out by a George Baldock equaliser.
With David McGoldrick harshly having a goal ruled out for offside, Spurs were a little lucky to get away with a point in all truth, and Mauricio Pochettino will remain concerned.
It’s now five Premier League games without a win for Spurs, and just two league wins in the last 11 games, with Pochettino really struggling to find top form this term.
Spurs sit 14th in the Premier League table, already a staggering 11 points adrift of the top four and just six points clear of the relegation zone.
A top four finish is already looking unlikely, and that would leave just two avenues into next season’s Champions League; winning this season’s competition, or dropping into the Europa League and winning that.

Neither sound particularly likely given how Spurs are struggling for wins right now, and replicating last season’s once-in-a-lifetime run to the Champions League final seems hard to imagine.
Midfielder Sissoko was asked about that possibility after Saturday’s draw, and offered just five words in response as he suggested everybody at Spurs would sign up for winning the Champions League to get into next season’s competition.
“Everyone will sign for that,” said Sissoko, no doubt because of the enjoyment that would come from such a run and because of their already-dwindling hopes of finishing in the top four.
