Tottenham Hotspur are facing a rebuild this summer, meaning some players may be on the move.
Forget Harry Kane for a second; there are a number of players players who may be on the chopping block as Spurs prepare to bring in a new manager.
Erik Lamela and Serge Aurier could be on the move, and many feel that Moussa Sissoko will be finding a new club too.
Signed from Newcastle United for £30million in 2016, Sissoko was a bizarre signing at the time but has now spent five years with Spurs.
The 31-year-old has now made more than 200 appearances for Spurs, registering just five goals but ultimately proving that he was a valuable player despite the criticism.
The end of the season was tough for Sissoko though, as he played just one minute of Premier League football after Jose Mourinho’s exit.
Last week, Sky Sports suggested doubts over Sissoko’s future at Tottenham, and he has now commented on his situation with the transfer window about to really get going.
Speaking to Foot Mercato, Sissoko suggested that he is happy at Spurs but will not close the door on a potential exit this summer.
Sissoko admitted that he is not closing the door on a move, and is ‘open to all proposals’ after having a ‘complicated’ season with Spurs.

“This is my fifth year at the club and I’ve had a great time there,” said Sissoko. “Now I am a person who does not close any doors If a new challenge arises, we’ll see what I do. But today, I am not closing any doors for my future because, as I said, it has been a difficult year for me in the club.
“I also want to see what the club decides. Maybe they will say to me: “Moussa, it is time to look elsewhere”. Or maybe they will say to me: “Moussa, we absolutely want you to stay”. In any case, I am open to all proposals today because I lived a rather complicated year.”
“I want to play football. I am the happiest when I am in the field. I’m going to be 32 soon so I’m more towards the end than the beginning of my career. What I want is to continue to play, to have fun. So I’m not saying I absolutely want to leave Tottenham. I’m good there, I had a good time there and I feel good with the supporters and with my teammates, with whom I get on well. We will discuss with the club and we will make the decision then,” he added.
