Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has enjoyed a resurgence in Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season.

Moussa Sissoko has told the Guardian that he likes Tottenham Hotspur supporters’ song about him.
Sissoko had become a figure of ridicule at Tottenham prior to this season, with the Frenchman far from popular.
Indeed, even the chant that Tottenham fans made for him had a sarcastic edge to it.
‘Who needs Bale when you’ve got Sissoko?’ was regularly asked by the Tottenham crowd, as they tried to get some humour out of his below par performances.
However, this season, the song has taken on a different meaning – as Tottenham fans could now be forgiven for genuinely asking the question.
Sissoko has been in wonderful form for Spurs, as he has enjoyed a quite remarkable turnaround.

Sissoko is now becoming a cult hero at Tottenham, with his popularity growing by the game.
And the former Newcastle man insists that he likes the chant that Spurs fans have created for him.
“I didn’t know this song before they were singing it for me,” Sissoko says. “It started in Madrid. My uncle was with the fans and he filmed them singing it. It was funny. I like this song so I’m happy with it.”
Sissoko was once again in excellent form for Tottenham yesterday, as he helped Mauricio Pochettino’s side to a 6-2 win over Everton.
