The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder seems to fancy himself something of a handball player.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko was something of a surprise signing from the London club in the summer.
He cost around £30 million, as reported by the BBC, as Spurs beat Everton to the signature of the French international from Newcastle United.
Since then he has struggled to find his place at Spurs, but has recently found himself in better form.

He is certainly a player who is full of surprises and, this week, he revealed his love for another sport.
The Frenchman was talking about his love of handball – a sport in which France are currently world champions. Speaking to France Handball 2017 he spoke of how he used to play the sport and if he would ever have been good enough to play at a good level:
“Yes, when I was young at college, I took a lot of fun. As I was a bit crazy, I played almost everywhere: in front, behind the middle, I practiced the hand to have fun and let off steam. It is really a sport that I appreciated, but I preferred football, so I continued my way in football, I think I did well!

“I do not know, I think I have the build for, but in terms of technique, it’s something else! In any case, it is a sport that I always appreciate and that I am regularly, I am also very happy with what French handball shows.”
Sissoko is certainly built for the sport, considering his high-energy levels and height, but football has certainly done well for him so far – as his move to Spurs in the summer certainly demonstrated.
Spurs fans will hope he can continue to improve his displays for the club and, not accidentally forget which sport he is playing and catch the ball at an inopportune moment.
