The Porto hitman is a reported transfer target for Liverpool.

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Liverpool are interested in signing Porto hitman Moussa Marega this summer, and he would be the ideal understudy to Roberto Firmino.
Would he get the Reds fans excited, however?
The 28-year-old was in fine form for Porto last season, racking up 21 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.
Marega, an 18-capped Mali international, is an absolute powerhouse, and he seems to have all of the attributes needed to be a hit in the Premier League.
The Porto front-man is not an elite striker, however, and it could be argued that Liverpool should be setting their sights higher than the Mail ace.
He is at an age now, for a striker, where his powers will slowly start to wane, and although he would offer the Reds a different option in the final third, it is unlikely that he would be able to take Jurgen Klopp’s side to another level.

Having said that, it will be hard for Liverpool to attract a truly elite forward to Anfield, given the fact that they would have to play second fiddle to Klopp’s current front three.
Marega would reportedly cost £27 million, according to Foot Mercato, and despite the fact that he wouldn’t be the most glamorous of additions, he could be precisely what Liverpool need.
