Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool are reportedly keen to sign Moussa Marega from Portuguese giants Porto.
Moussa Marega is keen to play in the Premier League next season, according to A Bola, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool among the clubs apparently interested in the prolific FC Porto striker.
The proven goalscorer looks to be on his way out of Portuguese football this summer after spending two-and-a-half years at the Estadio do Dragao, winning one Primeira Liga title.
Marega scored 17 goals last season with his impressive displays both at home and in the Champions League catching the eye of a number of clubs across the continent.
The Mirror claimed recently that Wolves were the front-runners to sign the Mali international with Nuno Espirito Santo looking to raid his former club. Marega will cost a club record £34 million thanks to a release clause in his contract.
Liverpool are also keen, according to Foot Mercato, with Jurgen Klopp aiming to add depth to his Champions League winning team.
And, fortunately for both Wolves and Liverpool, Marega has decided that the Premier League should be his destination as the 28-year-old looks to prove himself in a major European league. The question now is which club he will choose.
Marega would give Liverpool a different sort of presence in attack as a natural, old-school centre-forward. But the chances are that he would be a rotation player at best.
At Wolves, Marega might have a better opportunity of securing regular first-team football with Raul Jimenez the only number one available to Nuno right now.
