Leeds United should be keeping tabs on Moussa Konate.

Leeds United continue to push for promotion under Marcelo Bielsa, and regardless of what division the club are in next season, attacking reinforcements may well be needed.
The Whites have seen Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford hit 22 goals between them this season, but they’re the only two recognised strikers at Bielsa’s disposal – and they’ve endured injury problems this season.
Adding one more striker into the mix would just boost Bielsa’s firepower, either to stay in the Premier League or make another push for promotion.
One name Leeds should still be considering is Moussa Konate, as the Daily Mirror (Wednesday 8th August, page 51 claimed that the Whites were looking to sign him for £6million – but no move materialised.
Konate, 26, featured at the World Cup with Senegal last summer, and has hit seven goals in 22 games for Amiens this season as well as two assists.
That may not seem too impressive, but Amiens have scored just 26 goals this season – meaning Konate has had a hand in more than a third of their goals.

Amiens are hovering outside the Ligue 1 relegation zone, and Konate needs a step up this summer. Leeds should be looking to offer him that step, having seemingly been interested last summer.
The speedy forward has the movement that Bielsa looks for, and would bring great pace compared to Roofe and Bamford, without breaking the bank this summer – no matter what division Leeds find themselves in.
