Celtic will take on Old Firm rivals Rangers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership in a few hours’ time.

Brendan Rodgers’s side will head into the match as favourites and are expected to pick up all three points.

The Bhoys have the best and strong team in the Scottish Premiership and are also unbeaten in the league so far.

Celtic have already met Rangers twice this season. Back in December, the Hoops got the better of the Gers 2-1 away from home at Ibrox in the league. In September, Rodgers’s team hammered Rangers 5-1 at Celtic Park.

Given the difference in quality between the two teams, there is a chance that the Bhoys could win big against Rangers this afternoon. The highest Old Firm derby margin was Celtic’s 7-1 victory in the 1957 Scottish League Cup final.

Moussa Dembele is likely to start for Celtic against Rangers today. The 20-year-old forward is in superb form at the moment, and he will be looking to find the net. The youngster has scored 32 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

When asked if it was realistic for Celtic to win by seven clear goals, Dembele told The Telegraph: “First of all, we have to get three points. That is the most important thing.

“If we can score more goals then we will do it, but the three points are the most important. They will probably try to stop me but that isn’t a change from any other team in the league.

“Everyone tries to stop the team and stop me from scoring goals. It’s not about them, it’s just about me. I love big games. I am just ready for them.”
