Moussa Dembele has been linked with a move away from Celtic, but his agent has issued a big statement about his future.

Moussa Dembele’s agent Mamadi Fofana has suggested to the Daily Record that the Celtic starlet currently has no plans other than seeing out his four-year contract at Parkhead.
The 20-year-old is arguably one of the most highly-sought after youngsters in Europe currently, and the Record is confident that the Hoops will have to respond to offers come the end of the campaign.
But in an update that will surely please Bhoys fans enormously, Fofana has suggested that Dembele could well be at Parkhead for a significant period of time.
“Moussa doesn’t stress. He signed a four-year deal at Celtic and, in his head, he’ll be at Celtic for those four years,” he told the Record.
“If he has to leave, that will happen at the right time, but it’s not in Moussa’s head or my head.
“In January, there was speculation, but there will always be speculation if he does well.”
Not only would keeping Dembele for the duration of his contract be a major step in the right direction due to the goals that he has scored this season – he has managed 27 strikes in 41 games in all competitions – but it would also send a big statement out to players not currently at the club.

A player being linked with Celtic may have been put off a move for the same reasons that several of their key men have decided to move away after a couple of seasons in previous years.
However, seeing Dembele’s agent insist that he could be with the club for the four years would surely help convince potential targets that Celtic are now holding onto their best players and could actually start to become a greater force in Europe once again.
