Star striker Moussa Dembele scored twice in the win, with Kieran Tierney netting the opener.
He commented on Twitter after the game, thanking supporters for their backing.
Ominously for Celtic’s rivals, Dembele is coming into red hot form after a slow start to the season.
He began the campaign injured and had been used sparingly, but is now re-establishing himself as a key part of the team.
He is averaging a goal every 76 minutes in the Scottish Premiership this season, and he already has half as many goals as Rangers top scorer Alfredo Morelos.
