Dembele made an impact early, scoring in the opening minute in Paris – but the goal served only to spark the home side into life.
PSG scored four goals within 36 minutes and went on to win 7-1.
The Frenchman appreciated the support from Celtic fans, and the hospitality of PSG supporters.
Dembele began his career in PSG’s youth system before leaving to sign with Fulham.
Fortunately Dembele and Celtic have a big game to look forward to, the Scottish League Cup final against Motherwell at the weekend.
The young striker missed a chance to 4-1 to grab a goal back for Celtic but apart from that he was starved of service with PSG dominant.
A goal in such a big game will still do wonders for his confidence, and Motherwell should be warned this weekend that Celtic have a point to prove.
