Celtic's Moussa Dembele celebrates scoring their first goal

Celtic forward Moussa Dembele has told The Glasgow Evening Times that he is not worried about his future.

Dembele joined Celtic in the summer transfer window after leaving English club Fulham at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 20-year-old forward has been in superb form for the Bhoys so far this season and has been scoring goals for fun, both in the Scottish Premiership and in the Champions League.

As stated on Celtic’s official website, the France Under-21 international has scored 12 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign.

Dembele’s form has been linked with a number of top clubs around Europe. According to The Glasgow Evening Times, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have all watched the talented youngster, while The Sun claimed of Arsenal’s interest last month.

The Celtic forward, though, is not paying too much attention to speculation on his future and seems committed to the Bhoys for the time being.

“It’s good to know that [there are other clubs watching],” Dembele told The Glasgow Evening Times. “But as long as they know I’m a Celtic player, I’m focused on Celtic – I don’t listen too much to what anyone is saying about me.

“My job is to get Celtic the best results possible and score as many goals as possible. Celtic is the best club for me. Not just for a few years. For a few years and more.

“That’s why I came here. I didn’t come here to stay just for a few years. I came here for the long term.”

Celtic will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Motherwell at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
