Dembele doubled the advantage for Celtic on the hour mark when he found the target from the penalty spot.
Motherwell ended the match with 10 men due to the sending-off of Cedric Kipre in the 58th minute for a foul on Scott Sinclair which resulted in the penalty that Dembele successfully converted.
