Celtic are bottom of Group C having picked up just the one point from their opening three group games.

Celtic’s hopes of remaining in the Champions League, or Europe altogether, are hanging by a thread after last night’s 2-0 defeat to Borussia Mönchengladbach at Celtic Park.
Two mistakes from Kolo Toure led to goals from Lars Stindl and Andre Hahn leaves Brendan Rodgers’ side at the bottom of Group C at the halfway stage – with just one point from their opening three games.

Very few players commented on the game on social media following their defeat to the Bundesliga side but the contrast from their last European game – where they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Manchester City – was summed up nicely by forward Moussa Dembele.
Celtic’s attention now turns to their League Cup semi-final against Rangers – where they will be looking for their second victory over their Old Firm rivals this season.
Their next Champions League game takes place on 1st November, where they travel to Germany to take on Mönchengladbach – and they will look to put in a display that goes against their recent retched away form in Europe.
Dembele himself has had an impressive start to the season in all competitions. The 20-year-old has managed to score 13 goals in 19 appearances so far, and Celtic will hope that sort of form continues for the duration of their season.
