Moussa Dembele helped Celtic to a comfortable 3-0 win over Alashkert on Tuesday night.

Celtic put one foot into the second round of Champions League qualifiers on Tuesday night by thumping Alashkert 3-0 in Armenia.
Club-record signing Odsonne Edouard fired the Hoops ahead on the stroke of half time, before second-half goals from James Forrest and Callum McGregor gave Celtic a presumably unassailable first-leg lead ahead of next week’s return clash at Parkhead.
Despite not being amongst the goals, Moussa Dembele, who started up front alongside Brendan Rodgers’s £9 million addition, had a great game in Yerevan last night.
And the French hitman has sent a message on Twitter to fans of the Scottish giants, thanking them for their support.

Dembele has spent much of his two-year spell in the Scottish Premiership being linked with a move away from Parkhead, but things are surprisingly quiet this summer.
So far, the 21-year-old is not the subject of much interest from elsewhere, though it could merely be the calm before the storm and time will tell if he remains a Celtic player for the 2018-19 campaign.
