The Hoops edged out Hamilton 1-0 at Parkhead on Sunday.
Dedryck Boyata put the speculation over his future to one side to score the winning goal for Celtic – but he isn’t the only linked-away player in Brendan Rodgers’s squad.
France-based publication La Provence reported last week that the Ligue 1 giants were interested in signing 21-year-old hitman Dembele, who is no stranger to speculation over his future.
And some Marseille fans clearly want him.
With time running out, it seems very unlikely that the French outfit will succeed, if they are indeed interested.
That being said, the transfer window closes this week and that could actually work against Celtic, if Marseille feel under pressure to bolster their forward line.
However, the former Fulham star, a £500,000 signing two years ago, is under contract for another two years, so the Hoops can expect to be well compensated if a departure does materialise.
