Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Rangers were expected by many to win against Celtic at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon, but it was not to be.
Rangers headed into the match against Celtic with confidence, and fans of the Ibrox club must have been looking forward to the Old Firm derby.
Celtic, though, are the best and strongest team in the Scottish Premiership, and Brendan Rodgers’s side came out on top this afternoon.
Olivier Ntcham’s goal in the 62nd minute proved to be the difference between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park.
Moussa Dembele was following the match, and the French striker has taken to social networking site Twitter to revel in the win for Celtic.
The 22-year-old striker left the Hoops for Ligue 1 outfit Lyon on transfer deadline day.
Former Celtic duo Chris Sutton and John Hartson have also taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the win for the Hoops against the Gers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
