Celtic striker Moussa Dembele admits he was frustrated watching the club’s heavy Champions League defeat to PSG.

Dembele missed the match as he has done all season so far as he recovers from an injury.

The France under-21 forward began his career at PSG before joining Fulham’s academy and may get a chance to face them later in the group stages.

Dembele praised the support at Celtic Park and promised he will be back to first team action ‘soon’.

Celtic have performed strongly this season without Dembele but his absence was felt last night.

PSG ran out as comfortable 5-0 winners with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani too strong for Celtic’s defence to handle.

The result was disappointing and Celtic visit Anderlecht up next, who lost 3-0 to Bayern Munich last night.

It is a game Celtic cannot afford to lose, with back to back games against Bayern set to follow.
