Scott Sinclair and Moussa Dembele have scored a combined total of 31 times for Celtic so far this season.

Moussa Dembele has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he has been hugely impressed by Scott Sinclair since moving to Celtic.

Dembele and Sinclair were brought to Celtic from Fulham and Aston Villa, respectively, last summer.

And the pair have become two of Brendan Rodgers’ side’s most dangerous attacking weapons.

Dembele has already notched 19 goals so far this season, while Sinclair has hit the back of the net 12 times.

And Dembele believes that he has instantly formed an excellent partnership with Sinclair, as the two understand the strengths of each other’s games so well.

“Scott is a great player and he has so much experience in the Premier League,” he said.

“He understands how I play really well and I think I understand his. We link up well in the team and it has been great to have him back because he has been such an important player for us this season.”

Dembele’s brilliant form for Celtic has already led to rumours about his future.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a whole host of Premier League sides, but he insists that his full attention is on helping the Bhoys continue their fine form.

“I am not the type of player who loses focus easily,” he added. “I don’t pay attention to who is saying what about me because it doesn’t matter.

“I just pay attention to what the manager wants from me and on doing my very best for Celtic.”
