Dembele said that the reception he got meant a lot to him, and Celtic fans have reacted by begging him to stay at the club.
Dembele is sure to attract a lot of interest in the summer transfer window, given his superb performances since moving to Scotland last summer.
The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the top talents north of the border, and has scored for fun.
Dembele has found the back of the net 29 times in 42 Celtic appearances, and has fully established himself as Brendan Rodgers’ side’s main forward.
Celtic’s win over Hamilton extends their unbeaten record since the start of the season, and means that they are now 24 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
