The French striker has been in good form since joining Celtic from Fulham in the summer.
Celtic’s Moussa Dembele
Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has been discussing his form for the club after an impressive recent string of performances saw him pick up the SPFL Player of the Month award.
The French striker has certainly had an impressive start to his career north of the border.
He has scored 12 goals in 17 games for Celtic – with eight of those coming in six games in September. He also scored for the France under-21s this week – so is clearly enjoying himself in Glasgow.

That form saw him awarded the Player of the Month award.
He spoke to the official Celtic Twitter account earlier today. He spoke about his form and his battle for regular football with fellow Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths. – insisting nobody was the number one striker:
“There’s no number one or two.
“I am a striker. Each time the manager gives me a chance I give my all for Celtic.”

He also went on to discuss a goal target for the season – suggesting he was not putting anything specific out there, but is just simply hungry for goals:
“I’ll score as many as I can.
“I won’t give you a number.”

Celtic fans are already big fans of the player – who wrote himself into Celtic folklore with an Old Firm derby hat-trick.
If he can continue his excellent form after the international break then Celtic fans’ appreciation of the player will only increase.
