Moussa Dembele has admitted to the Scotsman that he doesn’t know how long he’ll be at Celtic.

Dembele has been linked with a whole host of teams, from the Premier League and across Europe.

The French striker is regarded as one of the brightest talents in Scotland, but he has always previously brushed aside rumours over his future.

Dembele has been quick to state how he is more than happy with Celtic.

However, the youngster’s tone does seem to have changed slightly, ahead of the January transfer window.

“I can say I have a [career] plan, but the plan can change,” he said. “As long as I am here, I will give 100 per cent, but I don’t know until when. I just focus on my football and give my best for the club and then we will see.

“It [the speculation] is not really difficult for me. It was the case when I was at Fulham too, so I have been used to it. I just get my head down and work.

“I have my agent and my family who take care of that and I focus on my football. You have to focus on what you are good at and what I am good at is playing football and scoring goals. For me, every day I will be coming into training – I don’t look at the media or what people are saying about me. I just focus on myself and as long as I am here I will be giving 100 per cent and we will see what will happen in the future. For now, I am here.”

Brendan Rodgers has already admitted that it is inevitable that Dembele will eventually leave Celtic, but whether the Glasgow side would allow the forward to leave in mid-season remains to be seen.

Dembele is under contract at Celtic until 2020, and is likely to command a big fee, if he is sold.

Dembele has bagged eight goals in 17 appearances for Celtic across all competitions this season.
