Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur lost against Manchester City in the Premier League at the weekend.

Spurs lost 3-1 to City at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League this past Saturday evening.
Pep Guardiola’s side were the better team from start to finish and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Tottenham midfielder Dembele, who earns £80,000 per week as salary at according to The Daily Star, has suggested that the North London outfit lost due to their bad start against the Citizens.

Dembele told Tottenham’s official website: “We didn’t start so well. Towards the end of the first half we started to play well and we worked hard but at the moment we’re all disappointed.
“We wanted to win. In the last 20 minutes of the first half we started showing ambition, but it was a bit too late. We had to start much sharper.”

Tottenham have to move on from the defeat to City and bounce back with victory over Brighton and Hove Albion away from home in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
Spurs will head into the match against Brighton at the American Express Community Stadium as favourites, and they should pick up all three points from the encounter.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 67 points from 33 matches.
