Mousa Dembele posted a man-of-the-match performance for Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Harry Kane was Tottenham Hotspur’s hero again on Saturday.
The 24-year-old hitman lept above Laurent Koscielny to nod home the winner in Spurs’ 1-0 victory over North London rivals at Arsenal yesterday.
But the man everybody talking about is Mousa Dembele – and for good reason.

The Belgium midfielder had one of his great performances in a Tottenham shirt, with his power, skill, intelligent passing and quick bursts of acceleration making him a nightmare for Arsenal players all afternoon.
If Daniel Levy was in attendance then the Spurs chief would have surely realised the same thing as everybody else: Dembele is not a player who needs to be phased out this summer.
Sky Sports reported back in December that Tottenham were interested in signing Geoffrey Kondogbia as a replacment for the former Fulham star, who turns 31 in July.

Likewise, Spurs fans have been questioning whether his legs have deserted him for much of the season.
But on the back of Saturday’s performance it’s abundantly clear that Dembele – who cost £15 million in 2012 – has plenty more to offer Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season and beyond.
