The 29-year-old says Tottenham Hotspur are mentally stronger.

Mousa Dembele has told Tottenham Hotspur’s official website that Saturday’s 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion would have been a defeat in the not too distant past.
Nacer Chadli came back to haunt Tottenham by netting against his former club on 82 minutes at The Hawthorns for what looked like being the winner.
But Dele Alli salvaged a point and Spurs’ unbeaten start to the Premier League season by equalising in the closing stages of normal time.

And Dembele has intimated that Tottenham have become mentally stronger in recent years by virtue of the fact they had the character to fight back yesterday.
“In the past, maybe we would have our heads down and be disappointed but we fought back,” he told the club’s official website.
“It’s so difficult to win here but it is everywhere in the Premier League.
“It was disappointing because we played very well. To give away a goal was disappointing but I’m happy we got back into the game.”

Dembele is right. There is belief flooding through this Spurs squad and manager Mauricio Pochettino has played a very big role in that.
They launched a very serious Premier League title bid last season, only to fall short in the closing weeks, and Pochettino’s side seem even more serious about it this time around.
The Lilywhites are yet to lose any of their eight Premier League games, and they have also faced some serious tests in the form of Liverpool, Everton and Manchester City, collecting five points out of nine.
There is a certain fearlessness about Tottenham at the moment, but will it last all season? That is the major question.
