Georges Nkoudou hasn’t been a roaring success at Tottenham Hotspur.
Moussa Dembele has claimed on Soccer AM’s YouTube channel that Georges Nkoudou is the fastest player at Tottenham Hotspur – and perhaps the quickest he has ever played with.
The 22-year-old winger joined Tottenham in an £10.8 million deal last summer (figures as reported by The Mirror) but failed to make much of an impact during his first season in North London.
The jet-heeled former Marseille man failed to score in any of his 15 appearances last term, though the majority of those were coming off the bench.

Nevertheless, the France Under-21 international seems to have plenty of pace going for him, if not much else at the moment, and his Spurs colleague Dembele suggests that he might even be quicker than his former team-mate Gareth Bale.
Asked on Soccer AM if the 22-year-old is the quickest player at Tottenham, Dembele said: “Yeah. I think he’s the quickest player I’ve ever played with maybe. Over the first meters, yeah – even [quicker than] Gareth, who was very quick.”
Then asked who would win a 100 meter race at the club, the Belgian midfielder instantly replied: “Nkoudou.”
Nkoudou is still at the Lilywhites now, despite speculation about a move earlier in the summer, and he’ll be desperate for a better showing this time around.
Problem is, he has done very little to suggest he is capable of being even a useful squad player for Mauricio Pochettino in competitions other than the Carabao Cup this season.
