Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has told BBC Sport that Gareth Bale is not injured.
There were some reports after full-time that Bale wasn’t walking particularly comfortably when he went to do his post-match interviews.
Indeed, even Mourinho feared that his newly in-form attacker had taken a knock during the game.
But Mourinho insisted that Bale was perfectly fine, in his post match interview.
“From distance it looked an injury for us, but it was just an ankle and at half time he feels I am ready to go, no problem at all,” he said.
“These are positive things, it’s good to have these feelings.”
Mourinho has previously criticised Bale for not making himself available for Spurs, when an injury problem wasn’t easily visible.

But it seems that the Welshman is really starting to turn things around at Tottenham now.
Bale scored twice during Spurs’s 4-0 win over Burnley yesterday, as he put in his finest performance since his return.
Tottenham will still have to be cautious over not overplaying the 31-year-old.
However, there is now real hope that Tottenham may just see the best of Bale over this second half of the season, which would be a huge boost to their chances of success.
