Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after watching a 48-second clip of Carlos Vinicius partaking in some finishing drills in training.

The video shows the Brazilian striker being coached through the drill by Spurs legend Ledley King, as he attempts to beat Joe Hart in between the sticks.

Impressively, the Rio de Janeiro-born marksman curled a number of stunning efforts beyond the former Manchester City glovesman.

His left foot looks like a real weapon, as does his ability to hit the corners.

Vinicius arrived from Benfica on a season-long loan deal at the start of October, after hitting 24 goals in all competitions for the Portuguese giants last term.

The deal includes an option-to-buy for Tottenham.

Jose Mourinho’s side will have to pay £40.83 million if they want to make the loan into a permanent deal, according to the BBC.

Significantly, that is not an obligation to buy.

It means Daniel Levy has negotiated an excellent deal for Spurs which means the club can buy him for a fair fee if he succeeds, and simply send him back to Benfica if he doesn’t.

Judging by the aforementioned 48-minute clip, it looks likely that Vinicius will do well under Mourinho.

Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about the video…
