Nicolo Zaniolo is a player in demand, with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea linked with the AS Roma attacking midfielder.
Tottenham and Chelsea linked with Nicolo Zaniolo
CMW reported this week that Chelsea want to sign Zaniolo from Roma in the summer transfer window and are willing to include Christian Pulisi. in a swap deal.
It was also CMW this week who reported that Roma have turned down an offer worth £46.4 million from Tottenham for Zaniolo.
Jose Mourinho’s stance
90min are also reporting of interest from Tottenham in the 23-year-old, but they are claiming that AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho simply does not want to sell him.
The report has claimed that Mourinho, a former Chelsea and Tottenham head coach, ‘is keen to ensure Zaniolo remains at the Stadio Olimpico’.
90min, though, have added that Roma are open to selling the Italian youngster for €50 million (£42.27 million).

Could a transfer happen?
In our view, if Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea are willing to pay AS Roma €50 million (£42.27 million) for Nicolo Zaniolo, then a transfer is very much possible.
Yes, the Italian club will aim for the Serie A title this season and in Zaniolo they have a footballer who has “incredible potential” – according to comments from former AS Roma player Zbigniew Boniek in New Sound Radio in July 2022 – but every footballer has his price.
