Lucas Moura has told Football London that Son Heung-min is “a bit different” but raved about the Tottenham star’s work rate in training, saying he loves the South Korea attacker and that he is “like a Brazilian”.
Son, 30, is in the prime of his career after winning the golden boot last season – finishing top of the Premier League goalscoring charts alongside Mo Salah. This pre-season, he has already shown his shooting boots remain on.
Indeed, he got a brace against the K-League XI side despite only playing 45 minutes – as Spurs won 6-3. The connection between Son and Harry Kane also remains, creating his goal in a 1-1 draw with Sevilla on Saturday.

Discussing Son in conversation with Football London over the weekend, Moura spoke of what Son is like in training. He underlined his love for the South Korea skipper, and claimed the ex-Bayer Leverkusen man is like a Brazilian.
“Sonny is a bit different because he has all this [dedication]. He is a bit like me because he’s happy every day. He’s smiling. He loves the game. Enjoys every training session, every game, he gives his all. I love him. He’s like a Brazilian.”

This season could be Son’s best. While it might not have been previously seen as possible, Son has got better under the guidance of Antonio Conte. Kane is staying at Spurs and that is crucial to just how good Son is.
Spurs look more likely than ever to finally get their hands on some silverware. The 23-point gap between themselves and Manchester City will surely be reduced this season, and they are back in the Champions League.
Some brilliant signings, too – notably Richarlison, Yves Bissouma and Ivan Perisic. Tottenham and Son could enjoy their best season yet, with Son seemingly set to remain at Spurs for years to come.
