Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno has said that Lucas Moura could play against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the North London derby, as quoted in Football.London.

Spurs will take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

It promises to be a very exciting game of football.

Ahead of the match, Tottenham head coach Nuno has said that winger Lucas is back training with the squad.

However, according to Nuno, Netherlands international winger Steven Bergwijn is not fit and could miss the North London derby.

Wingers Lucas and Bergwijn suffered their injuries against Rennes in the Europa Conference League last week and did not play against Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Football.London (1:43pm) quotes Nuno as saying: “Stevie is not ok, Sess also but the good news is that Lucas was able to join the group.”

Encouraging for Tottenham Hotspur

Now, of course, Spurs head coach Nuno would like all of his players to be fit for the North London derby against Arsenal.

However, that seems unlikely, but it is still a boost for Spurs that Lucas could be available.

The Brazil international is a very good winger who would give Nuno a very good option.

It is unlikely that Lucas will start against Arsenal, but if Nuno could at least have the option to bring him on as a substitute, then the Tottenham boss would welcome it.
