Youssoufa Moukoko salary has been a commonly searched term amid talk that Newcastle have offered him 35 times his current wages.
It was the Evening Standard who revealed that Newcastle have now launched a significant bid to sign the Germany international from Borussia Dortmund, as they aim to fend off Chelsea.

Well, the Magpies are supposedly offering the 18-year-old a life changing amount of money.
The Evening Standard believe Newcastle have told Moukoko he can earn £150,000-a-week on Tyneside, which is roughly 35 times his current salary of £4,300-a-week.
As things stand, the Borussia Dortmund No.18 is still on the same terms which were agreed when he just started to break into the first-team, hence why his salary is pretty low in comparison to most top-flight footballers.
Therefore, Newcastle have an opportunity to turn his head away from the Signal Iduna Park with a huge salary offering, which they seem to have taken advantage of already.
Of course, there will be some who are wary of giving Moukoko too much too soon and ruining his development.
However, the Germany international looks set to become one of the best strikers in Europe, regardless of his salary – his maturity levels are highly impressive for such a young player.
Moukoko has already been entrusted to be part of Germany’s 26-man World Cup squad, where he gained valuable experience in Qatar.
The Newcastle target has also shown he finds things far too simple at youth level, scoring 137 goals in just 81 appearances for the Borussia Dortmund Under-17 and Under-19 sides.
