Celtic will face Motherwell at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this weekend.

Motherwell manager Mark McGhee has revealed to The Scottish Sun the humorous conversation he had with Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths during their time together at the Scotland national football team.
McGhee is the Scotland assistant manager, while Griffiths is an important player in Gordon Strachan’s side.
The Celtic striker was part of the Scotland squad for recent 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Lithuania and Slovakia.
Motherwell manager McGhee has revealed what he told the 26-year-old former Dundee and Wolverhampton Wanderers man just before he was introduced as a substitute in the 64th minute.

“Funnily enough I said to Griff when he went on the other night ‘Get us a couple of goals then just tweak a wee hammy’,” McGhee told The Scottish Sun. “But he said ‘You don’t need to worry about me, you’ll have to handle Moussa’.”

Motherwell will face Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The Steelmen will head into the game in Glasgow on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Heart of Midlothian at home in the league.
