West Ham fans are dreading the thought of Gareth Bale making his debut against them amid rumours that he is re-joining Tottenham.
The Daily Star has claimed that Bale is set to miss making his second debut against Manchester United and instead it’s likely to come up against West Ham on October 17.
Given what West Ham fans are currently going through this summer, the last thing they need is news such as this and the Welshman tearing it up against them.
A selection of West Ham fans are backing him to do the inevitable and score against them – and he does have previous in scoring a long-range winner in East London.
The last time Spurs played their London rivals in front of supporters, Jose Mourinho was marking his first game as boss and they used that momentum to pick up all three points on that day.
By the time Bale makes his second Tottenham debut, and possibly against the Hammers, there could be fans in the stadiums, but of course, it won’t be full because of the current global health pandemic.

If Bale does end up signing on the dotted line and returning to the Premier League then it will definitely add more spice to the league.
But a certain David Moyes will be hoping that the Real Madrid star is still short of fitness, sharpness and form if he plays against them.
