Italian international Graziano Pelle may have scored five goals in eight Premier League games this season, a fairly outstanding record, but it could have been so much more. The Southampton man is the only player in the Premier League this season to put the ball off target 20 times this campaign.
He has some fairly illustrious company however. Liverpool and West Ham stars Philippe Coutinho and Diafra Sakho are joint second with 12 shots off target. In form Watford striker Odion Ighalo shares third place with Norwich’s Cameron Jerome.
Sharing fifth spot with ten misses apiece are big names such as Sergio Aguero, Alexis Sanchez and Memphis Depay – with Jason Puncheon rounding off the list.
