Jose Mourinho likes to entertain supporters on Instagram, whilst Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is trying his best to do his bit on Twitter with his Q/A’s.
Well, the frozen out star claimed that he would rather ‘retire’ than join Arsenal’s North London rivals.
And it’s a comment which drew a response from Mourinho after he was asked about it in his press conference yesterday.
This is what Mourinho had to say: “Who told him that Tottenham would be interested in signing him?” as he told Football London.
Arsenal fans have offered a mixed reaction to his comments, with some seeing the funny side and others hitting back at him.
Mourinho worked with Ozil during their days at Real Madrid and he is fully aware of the talents that the World Cup winner has in his boots.
But the £42 million playmaker [BBC Sport] can only dream about getting back to those glory days now.
Nonetheless, being the Tottenham boss, he now has to be a savage towards their rivals and there aren’t many better at it than the outspoken Portuguese himself.
