What’s the story?

Spurs will pay Barcelona an initial transfer fee of €15 million (£12.85m) for the teenage central midfielder.
The La Liga outfit have told Moriba about the deal they have struck with Spurs.
From Moriba’s side, he has agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig, who are willing to pay €6 million (£5.14m) as transfer fee for him to Barca.
Barcelona have told the 18-year-old central midfielder and his representatives that they will sell him to Leipzig only if they match Tottenham’s offer.

What if Moriba refuses to go to Spurs?
Well, according to the report, Barcelona will not sell the midfielder now and will not play him in the first team this season.
Moriba is out of contract at Barcelona next summer.

Could a Tottenham transfer happen?
Moriba seems to be keen on a move to Leipzig, but Spurs could still convince him to switch to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Yes, Tottenham will not play in the Champions League or the Europa League this season, but they are a massive club who will be challenging for the Premier League top four.
Spurs need to show how the youngster can progress and develop under head coach Nuno and how he can play a big role in the club’s future.
