Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are willing to wait until next summer to sign reported Liverpool target Ilaix Moriba from Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.
What’s the story?
Mundo Deportivo have reported that City, Chelsea and RB Leipzig all are interested in signing Moriba from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
Barcelona are willing to sell the 18-year-old midfielder, who is out of contract at the club at the end of the season.
The Spanish and European giants want €20 million (£17.12m) as transfer fee for the teenager.
Leipzig are not willing to pay that amount now, according to the report, which has added that Premier League champions City are ready to wait until next summer to snap him up on a free transfer.

Should Liverpool bid now?
Liverpool have also been linked with Moriba.
90min reported last week that Liverpool have spoken to representatives of Moriba.
Barcelona’s asking price of €20 million (£17.12m) is not much, and interest from the likes of Chelsea and City shows that he is very good and can be superb in the future.

Liverpool should make a bid now.
Moriba made four starts and 10 substitute appearances in La Liga for Barcelona last season.
The teenager scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.
Moriba also played 11 minutes in the Champions League for Barca last season.
