Ronald Koeman’s men have been on a superb run of form in the league over this past month or so, winning five and drawing two of their last seven league outings, after an extremely poor run which saw confidence levels stoop to a worryingly low level.
They now sit in seventh spot in the table, just seven points adrift of fourth placed Arsenal, and are firmly in the mix for a top six place.
And Schneiderlin, 27, spoke to Sky Sports about the Toffees’ chances of climbing the table further still, and the possibility of them overtaking two of their bitter rivals:

“For us to finish high we want to catch the teams above us, I think Liverpool are six points, Man United are five points. So why not? We can catch them if we have a good run of games, but we need to make sure we finish strong and make a platform for next season, to be able to give our fans the Europa League.”
