Morgan Schneiderlin impressed for Everton on Saturday evening.

Morgan Schneiderlin has reacted on Twitter to Everton’s draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
The Toffees kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 2-2 draw away to the newly-promoted side, but that does not tell the whole story.
Everton had to play with 10 men for around 50 minutes after Phil Jagielka’s straight red card, when Marco Silva’s side were leading 1-0 through Richarlison.
Ruben Neves equalised shortly before the half-time break, but Richarlison struck again to defy the visitors’ numerical disadvantage, though Raul Jimenez equalised on 80 minutes.
It was a so-so evening for Everton, but a particularly good one for Schneiderlin.
The French midfielder isn’t universally adored by fans of the Goodison Park side and hasn’t been hugely popular since joining for £20 million in January 2017.
But he was impressive at Molineux and quite a lot of Everton supporters acknowledged his performance on Twitter:
It was indeed a solid outing from the former Manchester United and Southampton man, but consistency issues have plagued his career on Merseyside, so even the most optimistic Everton fans won’t be reading too much into what could turn out to be another stand-out display in isolation.
