Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has been offered another chance by Marco Silva.
Everton fans have been left less than impressed by Morgan Schneiderlin’s latest tweet.
Everton were beaten 3-2 by Valencia today, and Schneiderlin was keen to gloss over the result.
The midfielder put a message on Twitter suggesting that Everton were now ready for the first game of the season, which comes next weekend.
However, Toffees fans were left angered, as Marco Silva’s side have looked far from impressive over pre-season.
Everton have lost to the likes of Blackburn Rovers and Valencia in non-competitive matches, with Silva’s side finding wins hard to come by.
And Schneiderin’s tweet was, perhaps, ill advised, as it did not seem to go down well with Toffees fans.
Whether Schneiderin will start alongside Idrissa Gueye in Everton’s opening game remains to be seen.
The Frenchman was out of sorts last season, but Silva seems to be willing to offer him another chance to salvage his career at Goodison Park.
