Everton made a whole host of impressive signings throughout the January transfer window.
Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin
Toffees midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin spoke to the club’s official Facebook account during a Q&A session, and shared which Everton player caught his eye during his first training session with the club, following his January move from Manchester United.
The 27-year-old has made an instant impact at Goodison Park since his arrival, and has given his side a different dimension in the middle of the park with his high energy levels and tenacious style of play.
And the Frenchman described how impressed he was with another of Ronald Koeman’s January recruits – Ademola Lookman, when speaking during a Q&A session for Everton’s official Facebook account, highlighting how special a talent the youngster is:
“He’s (Lookman) a very good player. First, I didn’t really know him. I’d heard of him and people were telling me he’s a very good player. Then in the first training session you can see straight away from the first touch who is a good player. He is the one that caught your eye because he has something special, he knows he has talent, but he also knows that he has to improve in certain areas of the game because he’s still young.”
The 19-year-old made the switch to Everton from Charlton Athletic, for a fee believed to be in the region of £10 million, and made an instant impact wth a goal against Manchester City.
And while he quite obviously still has a lot to learn, and plenty of room for improvement, Blues fans are already extremely excited at the prospect of the player that Lookman could one day become.
