Everton’s Morgan Schneiderlin has hailed team-mate Tom Davies.

Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has told the club’s official website that he thinks Tom Davies will become a ‘great player’ in the future.
The Toffees have endured a disappointing start to the season, losing four of their first seven games of the Premier League season, including the 1-0 defeat to Burnley before the international break.
Manager Ronald Koeman finds himself under increasing pressure, with fans accusing his side of lacking energy and drive, with a one-paced attack proving to be Everton’s Achilles heel so far.

One player who has looked to change that is midfielder Tom Davies, who has shown the required energy levels to take Everton up the field, driving forward more than midfield partners Idrissa Gueye and Morgan Schneiderlin.
Davies, 19, has been hailed for his performances in the Premier League for Everton, whilst he already has one England Under-21 cap to his name, as he continues to enjoy a rise to prominence.
The former Tranmere Rovers youngster should become even more important for club and country over the coming years, and he has now been praised by team-mate Schneiderlin.
Schneiderlin has told the Everton official website that he thinks Davies is already a player with ‘great qualities’, and has positive traits in terms of work rate and his desire to listen to and learn from experience pro’s.

Schneiderlin added that he thinks Davies will become a ‘great player’ in the future, noting that it’s good for Everton to have a promising homegrown player like Davies.
“He is a player with great qualities,” said Schneiderlin. “He wants to work every day, he listens to the players who are older than him, to progress every day. It is very nice to play with someone like this. He will develop even more to be a great player in the future, so it is very good for Everton to have a player like him – a player who wants to progress and play – and is as hungry as he is.”
“Tom had almost six months of playing almost every game. He hasn’t played as much so far this season as he did last year but he is doing very well. He trains hard. He is a kid with good strength and energy and he will keep improving as well,” he added.
