Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have signed Odsonne Edouard on a permanent contract from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

Celtic winger Lewis Morgan has told The Scottish Sun that the club have made a massive statement by signing Odsonne Edouard on a permanent contract from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Hoops have secured the services of Edouard on a permanent deal from PSG for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £10 million.
The 20-year-old forward spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Celtic and did quite well.
Morgan moved to Celtic from St. Mirren in the January transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £300,000, and was immediately loaned back to the Buddies for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old Scotland international winger believes that the Glasgow giants have made a massive statement by signing the former France Under-19 international forward.

Morgan told The Scottish Sun: “Signing Odsonne is a massive statement and shows that the club wants to be progressive.”

Planning for the future
Edouard is a very talented and promising young forward, and it seems that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is planning for the future.
Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title for the past seven seasons and will be favourites during the 2018-19 campaign as well.
